In my eyes, relationships are the site of so much of our wounding—as well as our healing, joy, and fulfillment as humans. That’s why I have made relational work my area of focus as a therapist.
My professional development began with four years of learning and facilitating the Relateful Method (also known as Circling), a relational meditation and interpersonal development practice. I then studied Somatic Counseling at Naropa University. During my internship working with children as a play therapist, I noticed I had a proclivity for working with the children’s parents around their marital dynamic and I became keenly interested in couples therapy. After finishing my Masters in Somatic Counseling, I pursued Level-II training in the Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy (PACT) as well as the Developmental Model of Couples Therapy. I also currently integrate elements from the Gottman Method and Non-Violent Communication into my practice.
I live in western Massachusetts and offer couples therapy and individual somatic therapy to clients in Colorado, Pennsylvania, Vermont, and Massachusetts.
I work with monogamous and non-monogamous couples of any gender and sexual orientation and have a social justice and somatic orientation to therapy. I’m 34 years old and I identify as a queer, White, able-bodied, transgender male. My pronouns are they/he.
